Hi, I’m new to hell let loose. Does anybody have any tips?

I didn't see this below in the comments so if this is redundant, I apologize.

One, I'd say you should really take to heart the advice you read here.

Two, not sure you fall into this category or not buy don't constantly scream I'M TAKING FIRE! or similar things when you're with your squad. I have had countless people (mostly the Christmas kids) state they haven't played before and just about the only time they aren't being er... overly communicative is when they're waiting to respawn. Communication is absolutely critical and this game definitely has stressful moments where calling things can be loud and frantic. But if a person is constantly screaming into the comms, nobody else in the squad can effectively communicate. If you're next to someone and an enemy sends rounds to you, they know it too most likely. Calmly communicate. Try to maintain clear coms if possible so critical info (ie airhead spawn announcements, danger close bombing runs etc) are not missed by the team.

And please don't immediately jump into leadership roles. Just pick a team role like rifleman or medic which are less critical to the team when you're less experienced. Listen to and follow the advice or instructions your officer gives you. It is an intimidating game when you're fresh to it, but you'll get there. I'm 39 and some 15 year old kid pretty much showed me the ropes a couple months ago and I appreciated his instructions.
