I've been thinking about writing a perspective flip screenplay where the jock is the good guy and the nerd is the villain.

Like maybe the jock is a genuinely friendly and popular guy who gets along with everybody and has a lot going on in life. Meanwhile the nerd is an annoying know-it-all who's bitter about his own lack of popularity, stalks the jock's girlfriend, and pervs after the popular girls in school. Over the course of the movie, the nerd becomes increasingly obsessed with getting laid and bringing the jock down a peg, to the point that even the other nerds get sick of him.

The film ends with the jock being accepted to his preferred university and goes on to become a rich and famous athlete. The nerd ends up getting expelled from school, placed on the sex offender registry, and abandoned by his friends.
