How active is Guild Wars in 2020?

It's less of an mmorpg now a days and more of a morpg.

This isn't a bad thing either as the game has reached a point where it can be done completely on your own, or if you look for the connections you can find a group of friends or a guild who will gladly play alongside you on your great adventure.

Now it's less likely to run into other players, but those still left are really good for the community. Prices are more confusing than ever right now due to less players farming drops, and high demand for the best stuff. But if you go to kamadan there's sure to be trading action you will enjoy from casuals needing weapons to professionals trading collections. It's always fun to manipulate the market in some way. With 7 heros the entire game can be completed solo as long as you are willing to play around with builds until it works.

Pvp isn't as easy to play anymore due to less players, but that doesn't make it less accessible, for example you can play HA solo now (protip 2 monks, 1mesmer, 4ele henchmen is the way to go. For bonus points go as an ele with aoe fire magic), however RA is only playable if you get on the right time with other players.
