It was the winter of 2014, January to be exact. I went to work as usual, deprived, sad and lacking excitement in my life. My marriage of 3 years had slowed down drastically over the holidays and it wasn't looking good.
I had no kids but before my marriage went down south we always talked about kids and wether to adopt or create.
As i walked into my office one of my coworkers were also punching in. For privacy sake i will refer to her as Katy. We had known each other for a while and actually dated for a bit before we mutually broke up. She was someone who i could always talk to, and being the suck i am, i asked her if she wanted to grab lunch during out lunch break.
At lunch we drove down to a nearby bakery and ordered coffee and sandwiches. Me and Katy had talked a lot and i was comfortable around her. I talked to her about my brutal marriage. One things led to another and before i knew it i was calling my wife to let her know my boss was making me stay over time while Katy got undressed in front of me.
From that January, me and Katy had been getting it on about 2 to 3 times a week. Then, it all came crashing down and my lie filled life did a sharp 180 and came back and bit me in the ass.
It was August the 30th and my wife went out with her girls for part of the week and drove down to vegas for a few days. It was 3 days into her trip and Katy had been at my house for the entire time.
Knowing that my wife was coming home tomorrow night, Katy stayed for one more beautiful night and like always, we got it on. However as we were doing it, i heard voices outside. Thinking it was my neighbours and their kids in the pool, we kept going at it.
But then something else happened... I heard a key enter the lock, the doorknob twist and my wife entering the house with her 3 friends.
Before i had time to react me and my wife made eye contact. Within seconds her eyes started to water and her 3 friends had disappeared out of the room.
I tried to utter anything out of my mouth. Before i could say anything she motioned toward me. Her face tomato red with anger and embarrassment. She said only one word to me and then left. And that word was.... BEKFAST
