How are you guys? How are your numbers?

I’m doing well. I’m fortunate/privileged enough to have pretty stable job that lets me work from home, in a supportive stable relationship and aside from T1 pretty healthy. I try to get a decent workout in 6days week which I throughly believe helps keep my glucose in check and also helps with my mental health.

I’ve been in dark times, I remember seeing the disappointment and borderline disgust from doctors when my numbers were bad to the downright self hatred and wanting to end it all from feeling like absolute shit. But it can get better, it took a lot of hard work but I’m really happy where I am in life now. Part of the trick is enjoying the “work”. I enjoy my exercise routine, I enjoy trying to figure out the puzzle that is my diabetes in terms of bolusing, insulin carb ratios etc... and I enjoy my “actual” work too. All that makes the grind that is life a smidge more rewarding.
