Has anyone gone from a pump back to injecting?

It’s very interesting and surprising to learn of folks who switch back to injections after years of continuous insulin therapy thru a pump. I am curious to know of anyone who has switched after using Omnipod. A trend I’m noticing in those who switch is worn out pump sites. And I imagine with tubes pumping systems that site switches aren’t as compatible given the necessity to have to carry the “control system” on the hip at all times (so you end up with frequent visitation of favourite/convenient insertion sites: stomach at the top). With OmniPod my challenges of being a type aren’t finished by no means. In fact the care is increased. But! The sophistication in discrete free sites and easy to change pods is wildly great. No manual calibration or priming required. So many options on tissue sites. I highly recommend if firstly this is accessible to you and of course if it is of interest. Waterproof. Blah blah I can go on. I am aware of the significance in the accumulation of singular waste however OmniPod maintains a recycling program in picking up your used pods via fedex and states that up to 80% of the object can be recycled if disposed of properly in the process they practice by no extra cost. Would love to hear of more experiences and welcome a conversation about More. Keep working with all your numbers. It’s a challenge. P.s. my last A1c was 7.4. Best ever. After years of wild highs. Much more to do but it’s possible to shift and continuously improve without compromising your wishes hopes and dreams. Oh and I love pasta.
