I'm fine with the idea of it in theory, but the fact that Set 1 cards will be usable until Set 3 kinda kills the whole idea for me. I like the idea of effectively needing to rebuild your team each new Set, but that won't actually happen because there's a season-long grace period to build up a new team while you keep using your current one. I'm also not a huge fan of just how many high overall cards are available already, although the WBC cards are by far the biggest offenders for that. All that really happened is that we hit really high overall teams a weak after release, and it'll stay that way for the entire year unless they change up some things.
