Give me these upgrades and I would have pre ordered weeks ago. I love DD but I hate that they don’t show any love to franchise anymore as it’s a nice change of pace from the sweat fest.
1.) Financial decisions like in 08’. You could make decisions on how your team traveled that would affect recovery time and morale. Along with editing food and their prices for fans and revenue which even Madden has had for 5+ years. It’d be cool to have advertisements based on how well the team has done (i.e Nike ads for winning teams/local ads for losing small market teams) Better facilities that cost more but your team hits potential faster. Incentive to have more money to potentially upgrade the stadium or just build your own. If your team is doing well you could potentially be funded by the city too. That last one might be doing too much but everything else is something that SDS should have had the last few years.
2.) I traded for wander Franco and Jason Dominguez for an empty soda can. Coding for this issue can’t possibly be that difficult. Also have some older players only want to play for a ring or solely off money if they’re decorated vets. Maybe players don’t hit 65 overall as soon as they hit 31 or even players like verlander have a second wind at a new franchise. Just some sort of randomness to the league like a Soto caliber young star. This would give ppl a reason to want franchise modes to carry over. Also the drafting and scouting is TERRIBLE.
3.) Gameplay atmosphere awareness. In any given scenario the crowd will react the same. Again maybe I’m asking for too much but I just feel like coding certain reactions for certain scenarios isn’t groundbreaking but I don’t know sh*t.
4.) Coaches and coaching style benefits would be a cool change of pace from just +2 contact -3 blocking. With more coaches with cyber face so Joe random isn’t the coach of every other team.
End of my rant. Wish SDS would put some focus to one of these things instead of focusing all of their time and effort signing on legends that won’t be viable past July.
