I just wanted to comment because I am one of the people who contemplated leaving but decided to stay. I do not agree with the admins and was pretty perplexed (to say the least) and slightly disgusted as to their decisions and actions regarding what happened in the last week or so. I share Hozier’s political beliefs and am a strong supporter of his music as well as his activism. I have also made a few friends in that group. I also decided to stay because I do enjoy the posts people make in that group. Do I support the admins, the moderators, and the way they handled things? No, I don’t. Do I support Hozier, his activism, and the many organizations he supports? You bet your ass I do. In my staying, it’s not because I agree with the mods, it’s because I enjoy keeping up with him.
