I was Camel #2. In hindsight that number didn't really signify anything, but to me... TO ME... not being Camel #1 was denying me my rightful destiny.

So I made sure to upstage Camel #1 wherever possible, by grabbing the best costume, and delivering my lines with extra gusto, and singing the camel song louder than Camel #1 and #3 (the loser camel).

Then the following year I was one of the Three Wise Kings, offering the gift of frankincense. With the slight of the year before still fresh in my memory I made sure to nab the biggest, gaudiest crown of the three. During the show the too-big-for-me crown fell off walking up the steps, and then standing before the baby Jesus -with all the dignity and power of a great ruler- I uttered those immortal words... "and I offer you this gift of Frankenstein!"
