More millennials and younger generations are not having kids. What are your thoughts on having kids in our generation and why?

I'm at a point now where I feel stable and able to support a family. Which is the most important thing when thinking of having kids.

I've always wanted kids. I didn't have a bad family growing up, and it's always seemed nice to be a father and raise a little kid with values to try to make the world a better place. Kids are a lot of work, and it is an investment in time and money. But when I think of years down the road, and I imagine a son or daughter of mine growing up and starting their own life and family, just the thought warms my heart.

Life sucks sometimes, but everyone in history at some point thought their point in life sucked. I know me and my partner are gonna be able to provide love and support a child should get, so it doesn't matter if right in this particular moment in time things kind of suck because things change.

It sucks for us, but for a child, they'll have their own memories, their own things they'll be nostalgic about when they're older.

Having kids isn't for everyone, now more than ever it seems. But it seems like it's a thing for me and my partner, and we're excited that we can start our own family someday soon.
