How common is this?

I love kids. My sister has (3) teenagers, who I love to bits. I miss having an infant in the family. I volunteer with Junior Achievement ( program where we volunteer in classes to teach kids about real world scenarios). The past two years I’ve had classrooms of 6 year olds. They hug me at the end, tell me they love me, etc. With COVID-19, it will be sometime before we do this again. I miss the love and innocence of children.

With all that said, I love going home to my quiet house where I choose for what I am responsible (right now 3 dogs and a cat).

Liking/loving children and wanting to remain child free are not mutually exclusive.
