How do data transfer rewards work?
Good topic.
I add another question:
IoT devices pay with DCs for their data being relayed, and 1 DC has a fixed price of 1/1000 US-Cent.
Who is paid with the DC?
Is the hotspot paid and gets exactly 1/1000 US-Cent rewards for relaying the amount of data that costs 1 DC to relay?
Or is the network paid? And the 1 DC is just a unit of calculation that is used to determine what HNT share of a predetermined reward pool the hotspot gets for relaying 1 DC worth of data? (Meaning: For IoT devices, the cost to use 1 DC worth of bandwith is fixed at 1/1000 US-Cent, but for hotspots the reward for relaying 1 DC worth of bandwith is variable).
