How long have you been patient?

Things have finally gotten better. Alhamdolillah.

Short snippets from my life from the past 12 years or so.

Father asked us kids in 2003 if we want to buy a house. Or remain living on rent. If we buy a house everybody gotta contribute and moving out to be in our own would be tough. We all say, yey white picket fence American Dream. We buy a house. Mortgage was decent we all contributed. Dad has a heart attack. Can work full shifts any more. I drop out of college. To bring in extra cheddar. Working 2 jobs now, dad's insurance is $1200 something a month so, got a third job. Mind you, 1st job I ever had, I'm still working it. Delivering papers 365 days a years since 1999. So dad's kidneys fail couple of years later. The insurance won't cover it; pre-existing condition. Not sure how that's possible. But yeah, no money to get a lawyer. Each insurance claims lawyer we approach say that our case is weak. Ayte no worries. Dad unwillingly has to go on Medicare and can't work no more because if he makes more than a couple of grand a year, Medicare might reject him. Get a 2nd insurance to cover cost that Medicare won't cover. That's another $700.

Brother gets cancer, sister moves back in, because husband is abusive. I did get to beat the shit out of him. So that was fun. Got 7 people living in the same house. Dad had unknowingly gotten an arm mortgage that gets raised after 5 years. Not good, in 2009 we were paying upwards of 4-5 k for monthly mortgage, because interest rates were high. Learn lesson too late about getting in to Riba. Sister and wife bicker all the time , gotta find sister a husband, (shhhh). Things are starting to get better. As now I only work 2 jobs. One of them pays solid dinero. Alhamdolillah.

There is a bunch of other stuff but I fear this may come into the boundaries of complaining. I'm happy with what I have. Good wife, even though sometimes she turns into a satan. Nice big family. We're that foreign family that has everybody living under the same roof.

Don't loose hope homie... It's all for the best. If you skipping on Salah then you gotta fix yo stuff.
