how old were you when you got your first real chopper

32 and I wouldn’t even say it’s a real chopper… gonna blame space… never had a garage or anywhere to do anything, my old shovel and ironhead just sat in a 7x7 dirt patch in the front yard (that’s all there was in the fence) where I maintained them (I guess, gave up on the shovel because it needed motor work, but with the homies help got the ironhead going, but it was only bump start, but it was the everyday transportation) and hoped they didn’t get fucked with in the night.

Had to sell them when I found out I was gonna be a dad, some italian dudes that didn’t speak English came over and looked at them, all they did was make sounds and said okay, made a call, handed me the $5000 for both, and didn’t want the titles because they were gonna be on a boat the next day.

Took the paid family leave when that happened (didn’t touch it because I didn’t really spend my money on anything but tools) and bought a big dog chopper style shovel. I picked it up and when I was loading it into the ranger the dude was like watch your keys, you’re gonna scratch it! I still feel bad thinking about the sadness this dude seemed to have letting this bike go, and what I planned to and did to it.
