How would you deal with the heat wave this Sunday?

Kinda surreal how 35C is treated as ‘dangerous weather’. I’m from a part of the Middle East where 40-50C in high humidity weather is common in the summer. It’s not fun but you get used to it. For what it’s worth, animals outdoors know how to handle the high heat. There are stray cats and dogs that handle that harsh weather every year, they usually know where to find water (and people usually leave some out for them).

Homes here are not built for high heat + lack of air conditioning makes 35C weather feel much worse than what it’s like back home. Sometimes it can be hotter indoors than outside if you have large windows that let all the sunlight in (good to have reflective windows or thick blinds for that), otherwise you’ll basically be inside a baking room. At that point it’s better to be outside than indoors.
