I would only stay with her if she went to therapy together to work out why she did it AND took a gun safety course AND got rid of the weapon.

I feel like we need more information, such as:

1. What was the argument about?

2. Was the gun loaded?

3. What was she saying at the time she pointed it?

4. Was the safety on?

5. At what point in the argument did she pick up the weapon?

6. Did she feel threatened?

7. What is she saying about why she did it?

8. What kind of weapon was it? A pistol? An assault weapon? A shotgun?

9. Has she ever pointed a weapon at another human (not you) or an animal?

10. Has she ever been violent to an animal? Has she ever hurt a human or animal?
