My omission left a vacuum and you filled it with whatever you wanted.

I’ve said elsewhere in the comments that the people that stormed the Capitol yesterday were terrorists. They are self-described as right wing or libertarian and many are completely hypnotized by Qanon. They are responsible for what happened yesterday. I condemn their actions.

You say I’m attacking the left. I believe I am a leftist that is criticizing the left. You say political wings are nuanced... they certainly should be! Except when you’re a leftist that is critical of the left, you become politically homeless because there’s such a LACK of nuance that people automatically call you a right winger. (As you have).

In this post, I was critical of the left. My lack of critique of the right or your “trumpists” is because that wasn’t the aim of my post.

I am more critical of the right generally, and trump and qanon supporters more specifically than I am of the left. Which is exactly why I’m a leftist.
