IMO Higher difficulties have a poor design

I usually play on the hardest level out of the box. I made the mistake of starting this on GMGOW. I'm either gonna have to keep going or throw in the towel. I have no desire to start a new game. Making every damn enemy a form of sponge or tank is not a challenge. It's lazy design. Whatever fun I'm supposed to be having with this game is nowhere to be found.

I also call BS on this notion of the game balancing out once you get better gear, runes, skills, etc. Once enemies morph, all of that goes right out the window. Enjoy spamming axe throws and Atreus arrows. That's about the only strategy that works at that point. I've found the majority of the crap I've grinded for has helped me out ZERO. Jeebus help you if you run into an enemy ONE level higher than you, too.

"Spartan Rage" is a complete waste, as well. The fact that I can't kill a low-tier enemy WITH A GIANT ROCK I RIPPED OUT OF THE EARTH WITH MY BARE HANDS should tell me all I need to know about this groundbreaking difficulty level.

Santa Monica studios can fack right off with this crap. Unless you have nothing else to do and enjoy three hour fights with foot soliders, I wouldn't even bother with it.
