Influencers and brand contentiousness.

He doesn’t think he’s protected and that’s the point of all of this, he is doing this as a performative act to get them to drop him. The problem is, they aren’t budging. However there’s tons of public pressure to drop him now which is exactly what he wants. But in terms of influencers, I don’t think many of them care. Don’t you notice a vast majority (including STKU) don’t comment on current politics or current events? TBH I prefer it stay this way, we as a society have a problem with people speaking their mind every second it really makes you think if they would be this vocal offline. Everyone is going to have an opinion on this but at the end of the day do I really give a damn whether or not STKU or any other influencer supports Kanye? No. Will it change my day? No. But there are tons of social media warriors who do and put a weird pressure on influencers who, at the end of the day, are normal people doing their job.
