Inline Code?

For all the "downvotes" , inline code for Ren'py already exists, because it exists within Python.
However, the same syntax that Python supports does not seem to work with Ren'py. Many other languages have this as well.

I have seen it done elsewhere, but honestly have no clue when or where that was. Hence the question here. All of this can be easily found online via a quick google search (including the definition of inline code).

TL DR; it's fine if you don't get it but... trying to make someone else look / feel stupid for something you're clearly misunderstanding that's just.... I'll leave that to your imagination.

Thanks to all the people who actually contributed a serious answer to the question though. I'll make due without it, it was mostly just for convenience and to learn how to implement something new.
