I should have said - his name is Skoczek we adopted him from a Polish family who were moving back to Poland after living in Ireland for a few years and didnt want to put him through the stress of travelling or a new territory/home. Didnt think much about the name at the time as he was friendly and well natured little guy who warmed to us pretty quickly.

After he was with us for a day or two a quick google translated Skoczek to Acrobat/Hopper/Jumper - "hmm, wonder if it was a name he got as a kitten or something". A few weeks later he has learned to open most of the doors in the house and mostly uses this ability to let us know at 4am that he is peckish and that dried IAMs food is not the same as the treats he gets on occasion. I call him over and he'll happily take some loves and curls up beside me for a couple of hours until I actually get up. Cute little floofkin xD
