Just got fired 4 months into a new job

Yeah kinda sounds similar now that you mention it. Because I hated the job and the coworkers from the start too.

In my case they admittedly gave me feedback though and I still fucked it up, even though I had been told what I did wrong and given a second chance to do well. I did so horribly.

Though, to be fair, they may have not made the best choice, as they fired me just when I had really learned the lesson and understood how things worked here. Or maybe I only really learned the lesson now that there's real consequences... But I honestly think I really got the idea and would have done well if given a bit more time. And now I will probably do well at other company instead, if not literally the competition. And left a bug in production that only I know how to fix.
