The main hole in his theory is that Jason generally doesn't pay people. It's his "hard-earned" money and if it all goes through Jane first, it's even less likely. He's the caricature of a capitalist pig, where his workers should feel proud working for him for free. Like stories of musicians and graphic designers not getting paid and being told they're getting exposure, which should suffice.

The manager doesn't get paid, he's just a small fry adding thumbnail titles, he films him once every other week and writes occasional IG or YT posts for Jason in regular English. He's in it for fun and getting involved in ments. Jason probably blows his phone all day. Maybe Jason promised him a % from t-shirt sales to keep him.

Same for Syynthia. She's probably the one that paid for those chicken breasts and Star Wars arcade and burrito ingredients before.

So, I do agree about views and likes for YT and it being mostly an act, but only Jason gets actually something substantial out of it (views and likes, therefore money), the manager and Synnthia must just find it out about his greediness the hard way and will eventually lose patience and interest.
