NTA. you were sleep deprived and getting a headache. you have to look after your health also. It sucks that it happens to be at the same time that she’s sick but you can’t always help that. And you can’t help the whole 24 hours later you have symptoms. That‘s just what happens when you live with a sick person, sometimes you all get sick.

and if your mum is so worried, why didn’t she come over and do the chores etc. plus why was your wife up and doing things if she’s so sick. If she’s getting up and doing things and not talking about being sick then it gives the impression that she’s not feeling that bad. She can’t expect you to read her mind.
