Just a post criticizing the medical field for gaslighting us about rosacea

I'm honestly 100 % convinced dermatologists know nothing about treating any type of chronic skin condition. They're barely competent at treating the symptom itself and forget about getting to the root cause of the problem. I went to a knew derm (for a different skin condition) asked about soolantra for my "rosacea" and she prescribed it to me with out even pulling down my mask to examine my face...blew my mind. I used to be a medical transport driver way back and I picked up an older Egyptian gentlemen from the hospital with moles all over his face and despite what he was dealing with he was extremely nice and pleasant. I remember he told me dermatology in the united states is a joke...I can see why he felt that way.
