King of the Hill's Politics Won't Change in Hulu Reboot - There Weren't Any

The best thing about King Of The Hill is actually its socio-political aspect. Hank is a typical born and raised square conservative suburban dad who, unlike most republicans and other rightwingers remains curious about the ever changing world and tries to adapt even though all those changes and concepts he doesn't understand scare him. Like he's got a lot of trouble with communicating with bobby, he thinks his passions and plans are stupid and not the "proper" way to live yourt life. But he's still supportive and cares about him a lot and they genuinely love and appreciate each other in a way. And even though he seems to want to stay in the past sometimes he understands he doesn't want to become like cotton either. It's not that there weren't any "politics", it's just been done really well
