This is the last picture of me with a beard, probably ever. I have decided to transition and live my life as a woman. See you on the other side! Keep it sexy fellas.

1) I get it why you did mention his perspective on homosexuality. If he is bigoted it does says something about his state of mind. But still never relevant to my point. My original point: there is conflicting evidence that sex-reassignment surgery is best.

2) I will be looking at the study.

3) You did criticize the method first, then made a point of mentioning the age. Norms of how studies should be done do change to get more accurate results, but that doesn't mean in and of it's self that some changes in accuracy will change the result entirely. (This is a poor, but only, way I could express the slight legitimacy that older studies are not to be trusted as much as more modern studies.)

I do give you credit that you made a point that transition doesn't happen in a vacuum.

I would also like a source on this quote

...disorder started as a very neutral term, but over the years has gained the same stigma as "crazy" or "psycho." 40-60% of people will meet criteria for a mental health disorder in their lifetime, so it's kind of ridiculous to judge people because they meet the criteria.

The Fact Sheet from the publishers of the DSM-V pretty clearly states why the name was changed [from "gender identity disorder" to "gender dysphoria"], and that people with this classification are not disordered. It also states that one of the main reasons it was left in the DSM at all is to ensure insurance coverage.

The DSM-V part, if true, is kinda blatantly insurance fraud. But gender identity disorder/gender dysphoria is a disorder (in every sense of the neutral psychological classification) even if the change of the classification is to distance it from stigma.
