Watch the self-described "most honest woman in Washington" tell 5 confirmed lies in last night's debate

I'm still leaning toward voting for her, and I'm a democratic socialist who has lived in a functioning socialist country (Costa Rica). Here's my take FWIW—and I'm not trying to convince you, I'm on the fence myself. Just trying to explain the rational:

The USA is a superpower, for better or worse, and we're up against Putin, ISIS/Iran/KSA, whatever shitstorm replaces a collapsed EU, the narcotrafficking cartels, etc etc. Plus, I believe in Global Warming, and think that we're going to start having serious problems—maybe refugee-level problems—in major US cities before long. If the government is busy collapsing our Wall Street economy and shadow government under Bernie, in order to implement a socialist democracy a la Costa Rica when we're US$19 trillion in debt (and counting), we're basically going to be at war with ourselves, and broke, while all that international and weather-related stuff goes down.

On the other side of the fence, you've got Donald Trump, who will probably bankrupt us like one of his companies building that dumb wall, declare himself the greatest POTUS in history, erect statues of himself everywhere, then marry a 35-year-old Latina to prove that his hate speech wasn't responsible for those regrettable racist incidents; Ted Cruz, who is Ted Cruz, gross; or Marco Rubio, who isn't as bad as the other two, but has been banned from Nicaragua (at least, maybe Venezuela and Bolivia too?) for life because his foreign policy diatribe is so clumsy and reactionary, and wants to make abortion illegal even in cases of rape and danger to the mother. All three of them love establishment Wall Street shadow government BS just as much as Clinton, plus they're a sad sack of suck and I literally can't even.

There aren't a lot of great choices out there, people. Clinton is experienced, damn near everyone in Congress and global leadership owes her something so she can probably get things done, the 1990s were great, she's cool with legal abortion, she gets along pretty well with the military, and I think she's proven she's tough - I don't know if she can take on Putin, but I'm pretty sure she could handle Megan Kelly.

So.... my take is that it's a sad day for the USA when Clinton is the best choice, because she's awful. But, she might be the best choice. Bernie and Rubio still have time to win my heart and vote, but if the elections were today, I'd hold my nose and vote Hillary. Now, if Bernie gets the nomination and there's no hope for an experienced moderate, well, it'll be nice to vote my conscience.
