Let’s talk about the best Prepper dog type and why?

Well I am a small woman with children so the purpose of my dogs is mostly protection. I have a German shepherd who is incredibly sweet but can also be super intimidating and is very well trained. I also have a mutt who is mostly pitbull, boxer, and German shepherd and while he's not as intimidating, he is great at alerting us to people or unwanted animals around the house and could definitely still scare someone off. Even though we have lots of predator animals around, none of them would attack the dogs since they are always together and would absolutely lose the fight if they tried. They are both super sweet when I let them know that someone is not a threat and they are great with kids.

So at least for me, my German shepherd and pitbull mix are the perfect prepper dogs.
