I gave up bothering with this stuff a long time ago. Moving to Windows 10 at all was part of that; I willingly gave up a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. I used to waste so much time poking and tweaking and I grew tired of it.

The only reason I even still have a PC is for gaming; every other relevant device is from Apple. Windows 10 is an unpleasant experience for someone who used to care about this stuff, but I've long since resigned to only using the thing when necessary.

I flipped off most of the switches in the settings. I wish there were lots more to flip -- from MS themselves which is why I was whinging. That's about as far as my care level goes these days. There's a good chance I won't even bother running that script you linked.
