I suppose being a post apoc larp set in the 90s makes it a bit different for us. Ours code of conduct strictly forbids portraying any culture or religion not in your heritage. We aren't super strict on some aspects of it I suppose. (Like I identify more as Irish than British, but my character is definitely more British leaning, but I do have some British so I think it's fine.) I suppose the main goal of our rule is to stop white people from playing people of color, and we definitely do that.

Weirdly a Korean friend of mine that I did a lot of parlor.larping with in the early 2000s once told me he always thought of all his larp characters as white. (We were creating new characters and had background ties and I was like 'well should they be in Asia?' and that's when he said that.)
