Looking for a daily driver sedan

Hey Skinny, I am hijacking because this is not worth it's own thread and PMs are creepy--I know you've said before you have a Challenger for long road trips. What would you think about daily driving an R/T or SRT in Chicago?

I drive my dad's old V6 Honda Accord EX, which is a great car that I've flogged to death because I'm a shithead and had it in high school and college. It needs a timing belt, has a damaged front bumper/fender/headlight, and the suspension is getting pretty creaky. It's also been street parked for a decade of winters, so while it's had good regular maintenance (oil, tires, etc.) it's not as nice as it should be with only 150k miles. My bad. Live and learn and don't repeat, right?

That said, what would be the worst thing about dailying a Challenger? How would it compare to dailying a Mustang, which I intuitively think of as more reliable but oh-so-small in the back? Could I do a road trip with four people? Pack it full of groceries? Take it to work in rain or Chicago winters?

Standard advice about snow tires and RWD go without saying. I'm just wondering if, in your opinion, someone looking to daily a Challenger will look up after a year, hopelessly frustrated, and say "goddamn this car is impractical"...and also, whether you'll have meaningfully less of that feeling with a Challenger than a Mustang.

I love the styling, and want an American-manufactured / UAW-approved vehicle (personal preference, no politicking here, but the Canadian-made Challenger checks that box). I could potentially pay cash in the next six months, depending on how some long-term professional considerations shake out...just wondering if I should, if if I'm being an idiot. I mostly commute by motorcycle if it's warmer than 40 degrees and there's no rain/snow, so being able to make due in those conditions is fairly important.
