Are you a healthy eater? (Yes/No/Mostly) What motivates you to eat healthy?

Yes and no.

My usual routine is to eat healthy with lots of greens and vegetables. Dark green salads with dinner. Fruit for breakfast and snacks. Whole wheat bread. Squash slices marinated in apple cider vinegar, pepper, and lemon juice. Turmeric and plain Greek yogurt and rice noodles. Green beans and almonds. Vitamins.

But when there’s a party or holiday, or if I go on a vacation, I eat anything I want, as much as I want. Restaurant food 3x a day? Sure. Bottomless mimosas? Please. A gallon of Goldfish crackers and a plate of cookies to graze on the entire time between meals? Yes.

But just a couple days of that is great, then I feel like crap! I’ve gotten to like healthy food and I’ve learned to cook it so I’ll eat it. So, back to normal I go right back to healthy eating.
