Looks like playing Oculus exclusives on Vive has already been figured out

OoOoOo piracy is okay because it's not taking something from another person OoOoOo

I hate this argument, how about you fund developers for their hard work? Some games have ridiculous piracy rates, even games with excellent critical reception and user reception.

How would you like it if you spent 3 years of your life working on a physics breakthrough that extended battery life by 500%? And then some Chinese manufacturer illegally took your patented technology and undercut your price by 90% with unsafe labor and materials, making a battery that could potentially explode? How is that any different from a third party taking your copyrighted game and redistributing it for free, and potentially packing a trojan inside or something?

OoOoOo but i wasn't gonna buy it anyway OoOoOo

Of course you don't buy everything, you're forced to choose with everything else in life. The game that looks more appealing to you gets your cash. You don't get both for free.

OoOoOo i always buy it later if i like it enough OoOoOo

Even if that was the case, which it isn't in 99% of situations, you're only buying games that get an A+ in your book. Why are games that are good, but not Oh mY gOd this is AMAzINg good, not getting paid? You shouldn't be able to play it without paying for it unless the developer gives you a demo. If a demo isn't part of their marketing strategy, tough luck. Ticket price.

OoOoOo but it helps developers a lot because of exposure OoOoOo

Some games have benefitted from this, other's haven't. If a developer wants to boost their sales, they can give the game away for free for a limited time of their own accord.

piracy has literally destroyed several studios and schmucks like you trying to justify it for some reason aren't helping.
