Lords of Silence

Liked it, though I'm not sure if BL authors have a restricted amount of pages but if they do he needs to tone down the description a bit. It's almost Tolkein levels that makes the ending of the book suffer as it needed to be crammed into whatever words he had left.

That said, the chapters with Typhus being an insufferable gatekeeping douche and Morty playing spoiler because he forgot how time doesn't flow the same in the Eye are excellent. This were where some of the descriptive bits shine, just little nuggets to show what a petty arse Morty is (such as the gates of The Manse being exactly 7cm taller than the Eternity Gate. Why? Because fuck you, that's why!).

Plus there are excellent side characters like Silvergristle, who carries with him the last piece of Barbarus as a staff and 40k's. Version of. Christopher. Walken.
