Tbh I sort of agree with OP here. Its not that I think women overlook appearance entirely, but rather my experience is that women are a lot more forgiving about looks. I know a lot of girls who met their SOs outside of OLD, and they are leagues above their bfs. I’ve also worked in the public sector and it was also a fairly common sight, whereas I can’t say I’ve ever seen the reverse.
