A lot of lost potentional?

I am well aware that some are still completely possible, but what most forget is the most interesting events that take place right after Order 66 happen very close between, so even if we had 10 seasons of the bad batch, it's still right after Order 66 that the most interesting things are able to be told.
From what I know, it's already been a month at the very least after Order 66, which is a lot of time for the galaxy to start adjusting to this new Empire, and remember the changing period between the Republic and the Empire is very short, it wasn't more than a year later clones all together had already been getting phased out, and only a couple of months before the stormtrooper armor was already the new standard. Separatist holdouts lasted for even shorter and should deff by almost completely gone by now.

My biggest gripe is the series just haven't really been careful with how much time they are wasting in the first months, which are the most crucial and interesting times post-order 66, they've been doing time jumps between the batch just doing a bunch of Cids missions off screen and so on. So a lot of things are infact already too late now and this wouldn't be an issue for me waiting happily for season 2 if a lot isn't actually already too late, which it is.
