Low carb recommendations

Hemp seed is a big help. It has very low net carbs. Your best nut is pistachio and dried apricots are great for fruit. Salads with tomatoes and a low carb dressing with hemp seeds are tasty and fit weel in the diet. I spend a lot of time looking at nutritional data. To truly benefit from a low carb diet you need to look at the grams of carbs per serving, subtract the grams of fiber. If it is under 6 grams you can eat it. Anything much over that learn to do without. I like stevia and splenda mixed together to sweeten things. It was a challenge at first but I have my a1c and other numbers well under control. It great for weight loss too. Best of luck to you.
