The people that always put someone else down because of what they do, they're almost always broke themselves or have a long boring job.

I make more than the vast majority of the people I deliver to. With age, comes not really caring what others think.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with what you do. He has no idea who's delivering to him. Don't ever feel that you need to explain yourself. You're delivering food to someone who's too lazy to go get their own shit. Don't go down with him. The Gig may feel neither of you are worth keeping. Just report this and move on
