Does anyone get Personal Independence payments for anxiety and depression? UK benefits

I do but only basic as I'm quite functional as long as I have the right support I also didn't really need higher payment and couldn't be bothered fighting further and waiting longer, it had already been a year.

I got around £4000 and it's about £260 a month. There was also an issue with my doctors getting the paperwork so that delayed it at least 2 months.

Just list any medications you're taking to help, any previous therapy and if you're current in or looking for further therapy etc. Get a medical history from your doctor of tests and results and diagnoses. If you've had therapy you may need to request these separately if you didn't consent to share with your doctor but most people would.

Then how it affects you, for example my heartbeat is crazy right now and feels like it's going to explode, I was having panic attacks in work and breaking down etc, explain it all. Try and write it like a diary as it's basically what they want to know, how it affects you daily, so write it down for a week and expand on it in your written part of the assessment.

Write it up on a computer first. Do one diagnosis at a time, even one problem at a time under a diagnosis and take it slow, get help if you need it, even just posting on here where you're stuck if you don't know anyone familiar with it.

Took me about two weeks to write it out all and I did it while waiting for my papers back from the doctor it's a slow process so you don't have to rush.
