Guys who don’t workout (going to the gym/weight lifting) but are still in good shape, what do you do?

Apparently the work I did when younger somehow just became kind of permanent as I've gotten older. I'm definitely weaker now and not as fit, but somehow I've just maintained at well above average. I do have health issues (major reason I stopped tbh) but strangely enough my same aged peers are all falling apart while I look like I haven't aged in 20 years.

I tend to eat only once a day, and I do daily stretching. If my health issues resolve I'll probably either lift or row, I have a home gym. But I haven't cared about lifting for several years, calisthenics seems to do the job for me quicker and easier.

I did speak to a few health experts who told me as we age we can maintain easier and a lot of it is based on what we did when younger. I estimate I have to work maybe 25% as much for similar results now. But that the last 10-20% or so of gains/fitness are now unachievable even if I ramped up as much as I could.
