This is a good strategy that Yang's supporters seem to have to reach out to other campaigns and emphasize areas of agreement, to express support for second choice candidates, or to emphasize shared concerns in a polite manner. It encourages people to view Yang in a positive light and look into his policies that someone that likes both candidates seems to appreciate. It also encourages people that like Yang to express their support for him since other people are doing so. Even if it's not a coordinated outreach, it should be. I think it would be a good idea to do something similar for Tulsi (ideally targeting other candidates that you genuinely like to some extent).
