It could also be something like not wanting to promote some shady content. I don't know if you guys know about this, but last year, I believe, PewDiePie got flack for shouting out a channel that did Death Note reviews because that person also had some controversial (I think Nazi) content on their channel as well. Pewds claimed not to know about it, but because of his past controversies, people assumed it was intentional. So since TwoSet often watch other people's videos, they might not want to spend time looking into their entire channels to make sure they're clean and that they're not promoting something they wouldn't want to be associated with. Instead, they just don't bother linking. It's the lazy way out and I'm not saying it's right, but it's another possible explanation, especially since I think they like Pewds from all the references so they could be familiar with that entire situation.
