I made a video essay about Vtubing, its long but if your interested in video essays it would mean a lot to me if you gave it a chance!

Again I was really considering whether or not to leave that in but after talking to a few people i've generally gotten the idea that the identities of many of Vtubers, (even more so HoloLiveEN) was that it was regarded as an open secret and an unspoken rule, thus I decided to leave it in since I thought it was a case of "people knew but just didn't talk about it" Looking through the comments of the videos on her channel it seemed like a hefty amount of people knew and actively talked about it in the comments so I decided to leave it in. Overall around 1/5th of the entire script (other Vtubers) was redacted since I knew how it could come across as malicious but I felt that the benefits of telling her story outweighed the downside and if anybody really wanted to find her identity it wouldn't take much time and they wouldn't have found it through my video if they were looking for it. I also tried to steer away from making people who are trying to find her identity as part of the search terms for the video thus nothing like "Takanashi Kiara Leak / True Identity" being any where in the tags, description or even timestamps.

Although again I definitely see how this comes as malicious and objectively bad and I do acknowledge this overall I reasoned with myself that it wasn't something extremely bad since anyone who had real malicious intent would be able to find this information with relative ease and that potential upside of listening to the story outweighed the downside of leaving it in the video. I considered telling the story without revealing which Vtuber it was but in the end I felt that her voice was extremely identifiable from the "Quiting Entertainment Industry Clip" and the "Giving Up On My Old Dream Clip" was important for the context of the story

I realize that it overall will overall receive backlash and both accept and apologize for that.
