Manchin invites primary challenge from Sanders supporters in call

Let me ask you this. Is Warren someone the vast majority of people could have a beer with? Is she someone that average Joe in the suburbs of Fairfax could relate to? These might sound petty but they are crucial for a candidate to have these if they want to win. Warren lacks the kind the Obama like charisma needed to win a presidential election. She comes nowhere near the level of charisma that Obama has. Unfortunately Democrats need charming charismatic candidates to win.

and she's a woman.

"A shrill out of touch liberal New England woman." These aren't my words they are words that would be used by the media to describe her. Nominating a woman in 2020 will carry a huge risk politically speaking. They would have to balance being warm and fuzzy and serious enough to do the job. It also doesn't help that Warren comes off as shrill. Like Clinton, Warren doesn't give off enough warm and fuzzy vibes to win. My state wouldn't care but any swing state will expect Warren to balance this.

Also, a six point deficit of 42-36 is actually a good result when probably 50% of Americans don't know who Warren is.

Its not just this poll that I m talking about. Warren only beat Scott Brown by 6 points in the 2012 Senate race. She should have won this race by double digits considering the state it was in.

Look I like Warren as much as the next person but she has no realistic chance of winning. She would have to drive up progressive turnout to historic levels to even have a chance. If Bernie couldn't drive turnout in the primary, Warren won't be able to in a general.
