Austin, Texas -- First day of early vote through 10am has surpassed the entirety of the first day of early vote in 2014.

The polling location I went to today had around 25-30 obvious trump/republican die hard supporters (Maga hats, gun owning apparel, etc.) and maybe..... Maybe 3-4 obvious Beto voters. There were probably 10-12 wildcards there that I couldn't really tell who they supported. Hell, most cars in the parking lot had some sort of republican/nra decal. I found this very interesting as I live in a relatively progressive pocket of the county. The polling location was near a community College too. I expected a much larger number of beto supporters. It is only day one and it was only one polling location, but I was expecting a lot more enthusiasm and turnout. I hope I was just there during a lull.
