Mark Zuckerberg’s manifesto is a political trainwreck: Zuckerberg hopes to create what he calls a "global community" by essentially gerrymandering the Internet.

I know I am too late and my comment won't make it anywhere near the top, but I started warning in mid-2015 about Facebook's influence on the coming U.S. election. Here's part five of my video series, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4A8L1sTigw.

The damaging Facebook pages featured in the video that exist only for ad revenue are still active, and they hide behind the "freedom of the press" argument in a way that makes National Enquirer look like the New York Times.

I know people will say "if you start deleting political Facebook pages, where does it end? It's censorship. Blah blah." I get that. But you haven't studied these pages and seen what I've seen. I spent so much time researching the methods and practices behind what people suddenly find an attractive subject to talk about, of course only asfter the election: "fake news". The "censorship!" line is a wonderful thing for discussion, but when you have years of data showing that the people commenting on these pages have become absolutely insanely negatively influenced to the point where their comments look like drool from a four year old, there's a problem bigger than most people realize.

I don't know if anyone noticed but a reality tv show star with skin thinner than one ply of toilet paper just became the President of the United States.
