Slow day at work tonight. Decided to mess around with the second prompt on my break.

Prompt 2

"Lilly's hands deftly maneuver the cup beneath the kettle's spout as she settles back into the tea room. A skilled observer might have noticed Lilly's nervous ticks, as she sat pensively waiting for the tell-tale knock on the door. A loud thud on the door causes Lilly to flinch, as Misha strolls in unaccompanied."

“Hey Lilly!” Misha blurts out after entering the room.

Lilly begins pouring two cups of tea. “Hello Misha, is the Student Council President with you?”

“Nope! We’ve finished our duties early today. Shicchan is with Hideaki on family errands. I was looking for the new student. Hicchan asked about the library, and I wanted to make sure he found it. Shicchan also wanted to make sure Hicchan avoided a particularly lazy class representative on his way to the library.” Misha says with a determined look.

“Of course, but we’ve not seen him. His name is Hisao, correct Hanako?”

Hanako sets the final chess pieces and place, and nods in agreement to Lilly. “Y-yes his name is H-hisao.”

“Wahahah~! Hanako was staring at Hicchan all class.” Misha says teasingly.

“Hanako did say he was quite handsome.” Lilly remarks with a girlish giggle.

“I-I was not staring at H-hisao!” Hanako says with a guilty bright red blush.

“And I-I didn’t see him at t-the l-library today.” Hanako mentions in an attempt to move the conversation away from Misha’s accusations.

“But you were staring at Hicchan all class wahahhaha~ naughty Hanako” Misha says wagging her finger at Hanako.

Lilly starts the chess game to try and distract Hanako from Misha’s teasing. “That’s enough Misha. The library is closing soon, and Hisao may have retired early today. I imagine his first day was quite tiring.”

“Shicchan will be pleased to know Hicchan didn’t visit the tea room.” Misha remarks as she heads towards the door accepting Lilly’s assumption.

“M-misha don’t tell Hisao I was s-staring at h-him please.” Hanako blurts out before Misha leaves.

Misha pauses before exiting the tea room. “It isn’t nice to stare Hanako! You know that wahahah~! But I will not tell Hicchan about your naughtiness.”
