Mormons Push Choir to Back Out of Inauguration: "As members ... of [the LDS Church], we strongly urge the Church to stop this ... especially for [a] president who has demonstrated sexist, racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic behavior that does not align with the principles and teachings.”

Huh. I've heard similar, but never exactly that. Very interesting. What's this about subversion? And what's this about the silent spring?

Since I'm sure there's a chance a Mormon might read this, I say this honestly and without hostility:

I have heard A LOT that they only look out for themselves and won't think twice about sabotaging non-LDS in the name of their own cause. I read that if you hire a Mormon to your company, within a year, that employee's entire team will be full of Mormon hires. And I hate to say it, but they do seem very opportunistic--at least insofar as receiving divine knowledge when political or social winds change and presenting themselves as normal by adhering to rules and standards of dress and public decorum that were written precisely to make them appear mainstream. Maybe conservatives/the Republican Party learned this year about just how much the Mormons (i.e. Utah) are really aligned.

With regards to the subversion, many--but not all--seem to know that Mormons populate the CIA and US intelligence agencies in disproportionate numbers. Some may say this is due to the foreign language experience, but, all things considered, that doesn't make it any less disconcerting. And then, of course, they work assiduously and relentlessly on charting the family history of just about every last person to have lived. Not only that, but they own the largest genealogy website (websites?), have the NSA database right in the middle of their motherland, and have a massive database center--which has been designed to withstand the heaviest of blasts-- entombed in the mountains in Utah. So basically it seems they have access to more information about us than any other group, and the intelligence-gathering, if you will, is only getting worse. Sometimes I get the impression that if 1) the LDS Church weren't so ridiculously wealthy and 2) so much intelligence weren't entrusted to the Mormons, the government or some other political force would have moved to disenfranchise them.
